2014-2015
• A seminar was organized on ‘Python Programming’ by the Department of Physics on 12.3.2015. Dr. Bensitha Wilson, Assistant Professor, Lourde Matha College, was the resource person

2015-2016
• ‘Asthra- 2015’ – a three day long series of programmes organised by the Department of Physics includes exhibition, lecture series, quiz competition and research paper presentations.

2016-2017
• A two day seminar ‘Asthra 2K 16’ was organised by the Department of Physics on March 14 & 15, 2017. A talk on ‘General Concepts in Theory of Relativity’ was led by Dr. G.J. Shyju, Assistant Professor in Physics, ‘Decoding the Inborn Potential of a person: Challenges & Possibilities ‘ by Dr. Vivekanandhan and a class on ‘Quantum Mechanics’ was led by Dr. Maria Starwin, Assistant Professor in Chemistry.

2017-2018
• Two days national Seminar was organised by the Department of Physics on 27.2.2018 and 28.2.2018 on the topic ‘Advances in Physics’in connection with National Science Day Celebrations. Dr. S. Israel, Associate Professor, PG and Research Department of Physics, The American College, Madurai, Tamil Nadu was the chief guest. Dr. Prince P.R., Assistant Professor in Physics, University of Kerala, Dr. K.C. Bright, Assistant Professor in Physics, St. John’s College, Anchal, TVPM, Dr. Dawn Dharma Roy, Principal, Muslim Arts College, Thiruvathamcode, Tamil Nadu, Dr. V. Bena Jothy, Assistant Professor in Physics, Women’s Christian College, Nagercoil, Mr. Twinkle A.R., Assistant professor in Physics, St. John’s College, Anchal and Dr. G.J. Shyju, Assistant Professor in Physics were the resource persons
• The Department of Physics organised a program on ‘Energy Conservation’ for the tribal people of Chonampara, Kithodu in Kottor forestry area in association with Energy Management Centre, Government of Kerala on 24.3.2018. Dr. Shyju G.J. was the resource person and handled classes about how to reduce the power consumption. LED bulbs were distributed to the participants on the same day.
• On 21.2.2018 UGC/CSIR coachinng classes conducted for the PG students of Department of Physics by Dr. Maria Starwin, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry

2018-2019
• The Department of Physics conducted a one day seminar on ‘Microprocessor 8086’ for the PG students. Dr. Prince P.R., Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, University of Kerala was the resource person.
• A training program was organised by the Department of Physics on Analytical Equipment on 23.10.2018 for the PG students
